My OMG/UFO goal for November was the number 2 (drawn by Patchwork Times).
I wanted to turn the Brazilian embroidered piece into a pillow.
To create texture, I free motion quilted around the embroidery.
I was frustrated when I discovered that some of my threads bled a bit when I removed my blue quilting marks with water.
However, I was able to wash out the bleeding with a good soak in Dawn dishwashing liquid. (What a relief!)
The back of the pillow has a hidden zipper.
I am happy with how it turned out!
This pillow is destined to be a gift.
I am linking up with Elm Street Quilts for One Monthly Goal (OMG) and Patchwork Times . Click on the link and check out the other goals for November!

I don’t think I’d be able to gift this pillow. It is beautiful!

Thank you for stopping by, Sarah!
The pillow was gifted to someone close to my heart, and I know it has a good home, so I feel great about giving it away. 🙂
