“In emerald tufts, flowers purple, blue and white;
Like sapphire, pearl, and rich embroidery,
Buckled below fair knighthood’s bending knee;
Fairies use flower for their charactery.”
― William Shakespeare
“Take your needle, my child, and work at your pattern; it will come out a rose by and by. Life is like that – one stitch at a time taken patiently and the pattern will come out all right like the embroidery.”
– Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.
I am still slowly; very, very slowly, stitching blocks from the Aunt Bea’s Parlor pattern.
I have finished block number 16.
Onto block number 17.
Progress is happening!
Slowly.
I am linking up with Kathy’s Quilts Slow Sunday Stitching. Click on the link, and check out the projects that others are working on!

Laura; This one is so pretty and dainty, a fun project.

So pretty. I have not learned to enjoy hand stitching – yet. There is hope tho that I will.

Thank you, Sharon! From what I’ve seen on your blog, you do plenty of wonderful projects without adding hand stitching, too! 🙂
